Khmer New Year 2013

Khmer New Year?, which usually falls on April 13 or 14th, is the end of the harvesting season, when farmers enjoy the fruits of their labor before the rainy season begins.? Moreover, it is a khmer cultural ceremony which follows by khmer people for long time. That’s why, University of Puthisastra would like to carry out Khmer New Year in UP campus in order to strengthen khmer culture. It’s held on Sunday, 7th of April 2013 from 2:00 to 8:30 pm at University of Puthisastra Campus.

It’s designed for celebrating of Khmer New Year instead of 14th, 15th and 16th of April and making fun among the students. There are more than 1,500 audiences such as Ministry representative, high school students, orphanage, and around UP students.
