The Assistant Dean for Innovation and Futures will support the Dean in innovating learning and teaching and in increasing students’ engagement.

I. Duties and Responsibilities:

The Assistant Dean is expected to:
● Propose innovation in learning and teaching, contributing to, and proposing collaboration with other universities and partners nationally and internationally
● Promote deeper student engagement in enhancement of learning and teaching, and the student experience
● Contribute to innovation and enhancement of course delivery to promote independent learning, meet demand for flexible delivery and exploit new technologies
● Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean

II. Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Education:

● MD Degree

2. Experience:
● Experience in developing medical education-related projects
● Experience in engaging medical students
● Excellent understanding of current educational needs of medical students

3. Skills/Competencies:
● Excellent oral and written command of English
● Excellent oral and written command of Khmer

4. Personal Qualities:
● Ability and enthusiasm to be very proactive in proposing innovations
● Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues and with different Institutions
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
