I. Position Summary:
The dental nurse (1 FFE) will contribute to the clinical and practical instruction of undergraduate dental students at the University of Puthisastra. They would be able to treat patients at UP Dental Clinic and provide basic treatment procedures as are specified by the Ministry of Health. Bring dental healthcare benefits to Cambodians by working with dentists in a multi-disciplinary setup at UP Dental Hospital 1 and 2.
II. Duties and Responsibilities:
The overall job description below outlines the main areas of responsibility:

• Provide basic dental treatments to patients as specified by the Ministry of Health and work with graduate dentists as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Be responsible for continuing personal and professional development with an awareness of changing health trends.
• Consult with other health professionals when nursing practice / care requires additional expertise
• Adhere to university policies, academic standards, and codes of conduct.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Dean and Deputy Deans.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years clinical or academic experience

2. Education:

• Associate Degree of Dental Nursing.
• Postgraduate qualifications if any would be helpful.

3. Skills/Competencies:

• Effective teaching and communication skills
• Excellent team working spirit
• Good command of English; Khmer is an advantage
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and dental ethics
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students.
