I. Position Summary:
The full time nursing lecturer responsible for delivering comprehensive theoretical and practical instruction, adhering to national curricula, integrating innovative teaching technologies, and fostering student competency in clinical skills. Engages in research, community outreach, and departmental activities to advance nursing education and promote the profession.
II. Duties and Responsibilities:
The overall job description below outlines the main areas of responsibilities of the Employee:
- Develop and deliver lectures both theory & practical sessions in various nursing courses 21 hours per week with title of courses ( Fundamental Nursing Methodology , Adult Nursing 1, 2, Evidenced Based Practice,Sociology & Health, Khmer History & Culture,Embryology & Life Span Development, English Medical Terminology)
- Facilitate student understanding of theoretical concepts and clinical skills.
- Contribute to the design, review, and updating of nursing curricula to reflect current practices and standards.
- Incorporate innovative teaching tools and technology.
- Engage in research activities relevant to nursing education and practice as directed.
- Assist in TP and OSCE practice.
- Engage in community practicum
- Promote the nursing profession through community outreach and public education
- Actively participate in departmental activities
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the DDoN or DoNM.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Experience:
- Teaching nursing course curriculum is preferred
2. Education:
- Bachelor degree in nursing
- Higher degree in nursing or health related
3. Skills/Competencies:
- Well organized
- Able to teach nursing course curriculum
- Good communication skills
- Able to multitask
