Dr So has been involved in teaching with the Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Sydney since 2013 and has contributed as an examiner, lecturer, clinical mentor and as a Planning Committee member. I have also been involved with the DMD dentistry program at the University of Sydney since 2010 through lecturing, and clinical mentoring. She is also involved in teaching the Surgical Dentistry course for the Australian Dental Association over the past 3 years, and will be lecturing in the ITI (International Team for Implantology) Modular course at the Australian Dental Association later this year. She also presented for Straumann Dental Implants with a special interest topic of digital surgical planning and digital guided surgery with CodiagnostiX.

Dr So has also been volunteering as a dentist in Cambodia since 2005, and established Project Cambodia dental clinics in 2008, an NGO dental clinic which now has three clinics in Kampot, Kampong Speu, and Takeo provinces funded by Asia Aid Pty Ltd for which she serves on the Board of Directors (Youraid.org.au). They have an aim to reduce the incidence and experience of dental caries in rural Cambodian school children, in provision of free oral hygiene instruction, preventive dentistry, and general dentistry, general hygiene programs, with our local partner NGO Buddhist Library Cambodia Project we fund the provision of toilets in schools, access to clean water, and free education to participating schools.
