1. Library

Located in the center of Phnom Penh, UP has the finest facilities and modern technologies available in Cambodia. One of those facilities is the university library. With more than 6,000 items, it houses the most up-to-date books, magazines, newspapers in and outside the country.

The library is open six days per week (Monday to Saturday) from 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m except public holidays.

2. Computer Lab

UP provides 3 computer labs to support practical learning activities. 2 Computer labs are located in rooms A04 and A06, and are used for classroom activities only. The last Computer lab, which is located in room A05, is open to all current UP students during their free time on campus. This lab is open six days per week (Monday to Saturday) from 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m except public holidays.

3. Language Lab

UP provides a Language Lab which is located in room A01. This lab is mainly aimed to provide support for the English language program. The Lab is specially designed and offers high level facilities to students including high performance computers, Internet, Network, and English software (TOEFL, IELTs and others), etc. The Language Lab is open six days per week (Monday to Saturday) from 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m except public holidays. This lab is used for classroom purposes and also other professional training programs.

4. Center for Languages and Vocational Training (CLVT)

UP provides a center where students can attend professional courses in IT and English. CLVT opens six days per week (Monday to Saturday) from 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m except public holidays. The center is fully equipped with Internet and Network facilities. Most of the software applications which are necessary for training purposes are already installed. 5. Tutoring and Self-Learning Center

  • Peer Tutoring Volunteer Service

    In addition to helping develop relationships and building rapport among students, this service will also assist students to improve their academic performance. Students teaching other students can be very effective! Tutors are the advanced students, who have a will to help others. They can be in the same class, different class/ batch. Interested students, both tutors and tutees, can contact Student Affairs for detailed information.

  • Self-Learning Center (SLC)

    SLC is located in building A, and has been set up to promote independent-learning among students, especially those who study English. SLC may freely be used to practice English listening and reading skills using head-phones, tape-players, and computers. Reading books, magazines and other periodicals are available in the center. The center is open six days per week (Monday to Saturday) from 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m except public holidays.

6. Career Counseling Center (CCC)

Internship and Jobs - UP has established a CCC which will provide assistance and advice to students regarding their future career path. The CCC will also conduct workshops on topics such as how to write a CV and pass a job interview. An internship program will also be developed with leading companies and NGO's in Cambodia to provide students with real life work experience. 7. Alumni and Affiliations

  • UP Alumni Association aims to develop networks of all former UP graduates and existing students. UP Alumni Association has also developed networks with other alumni associations such as:

    • Fulbright Alumni Association
    • Japan Alumni of Cambodia Association

    Students are encouraged to contact the above associations on UP campus regarding school networks and scholarship opportunities.

  • Company Affiliations - UP is currently working with international companies such as the Cambodia Beverage Company (Coca-Cola) to introduce the Biz-in-life workshop which provides students with the essential business communications skills which are necessary for success in the global workplace.

8. Cafeteria

Located on the ground floor, western area of the campus, with a clean, comfortable environment, the university cafeteria offers a variety of Cambodian/ Chinese hot food and drinks. It is open six days a week from 6:30am to 7:30pm.

9. Recreation Area

It covers one half of the total area of the University (6,750sqm2 land), allocated between the two main buildings (A & B) of the university. The open space has comfortable tables and chairs under trees with shade. Students can use the site to discuss, study in group, and relax. Users with lab-top computers can also use the wireless internet access.

10. First Aid

Located in the Foundation Year Department, the university's first aid can provide basic medicine to cure headache, stomachache and/or any kind of small injury, while being on campus and in class.
