Scholarship is Now Open at University of Puthisastra
In this new academic year 2010-2011, University of Puthisastra is pleased to provide full scholarship to 200 students who want to study bachelor program. We have five faculties with a variety of specialization. Students can apply from now on until 04 September 2010.

National SME Business Plan Competition is Now Open for Registration
The University of Puthisastra (UP) is pleased to announce the launch of the National SME Business Plan Competition 2010. The purpose of the competition is to promote entrepreneurship among young Cambodians and to also launch new business and social ventures.
The Competition is being co-organized by the University of Puthisastra and CIESF with the support of Waseda University, Japan. Additional university partners include the National University of Management (NUM), Cambodian Mekong University (CMU) and Build Bright University (BBU).
The competition is open to all university students, graduates and alumni students in Cambodia. Students must apply to the competition as a team of between 2 to 4 members. Teams must submit a brief outline of their business idea, which can be either a for-profit or social venture, by September 1st. The best 8 business ideas/teams will then be selected by an international panel of judges in September, and will receive 4 months of training in business planning, leadership and enterprise management.
All 8 teams will then compete in a one day business plan competition on January 14, 2011. The top three teams will receive prizes in addition to access to financing which will be provided by CIESF, Japan. The top 3 teams will also be eligible to compete in the regional McKinsey Mekong Business Plan Challenge on February 19, 2011.

President and Management Team of University of Puthisastra visit the four UP students in Korea Maritime University.
Submitted by admin on សុ, 03/05/2010 - 17:36University of Puthisastra is the first and only university in Cambodia that has cooperation program with Korea Maritime University (KMU) in Republic of Korea. KMU is national university in Korea and one of the top universities in Korea for the maritime field. University of Puthisastra had sent 4 of its students on the scholarship program to attend the 4-years undergraduate course in the college of Maritime Science in KMU.
On 2nd of March 2010, the President of University of Puthisastra, Mr. Sok Puthyvuth and UP management Team had accepted the invitation from KMU president to make a speech and participate the Admission Ceremony in KMU. In addition UP President taking this opportunity to visit the Cambodia students to make sure they are comfortable to live and study in new country.
