How to write a good study objective?
Study objective is different from personal statement (CV). Study objective is about your M.A Thesis. And please do it by yourself do not to ask someone to do it for you.

  1. Clear problematization of your topic or rationales (why you want to study that field/topic?)
  2. Clear objectives/statement/research questions
  3. Methodology and case study (if you need to)
  4. Expected findings
  5. How important for you and your country

What is personal statement?

  1. Personal statement is similar to your CV but you put all information in your CV into text.
  2. You need to start from your own backgrounds: family, living in rural areas, life is difficult…
  3. What is your personal interest of study (broadly, wish to get a scholarship, scholar…)
  4. And the scholarship you are applying is exactly suited you….
  5. Working experiences, your publications (if you have)
  6. Your strengths and Weaknesses

Being interviewed

  1. Some scholarships require candidates to be interviewed.
  2. Be clear of your field of study as you put in the study objective (defend it that it is critical for you)
  3. Relate your B.A or working experiences to what you are going to study.
  4. How important of your study is important for your future and Cambodia.
  5. You master your own field
  6. Understanding educational system of the country you are applying to
  7. Language and using time effectively
